How do I book a property inspection?

Bookings can be made by phone on (02) 9410 3740 or by email at info@besafeinspections.com.au. You will need to provide your full name, inspection address, contact details, the inspection service required, and real estate agent details if known.

Do I have to arrange access to the property for the inspection?

No. BeSafe Property Group will liaise directly with the agent and/or vendor to organise access. You will be kept up to date throughout the booking process and notified of confirmed booking details.

How quickly can you complete an inspection?

We endeavour to have inspections completed within 24 to 48 hours of receiving a booking request, subject to access availability with the agent and/or vendor. Same-day inspections are available for urgent requirements and will incur a surcharge.

Can I be present at the time of inspection?

Yes, you may attend the inspection. Please advise our team when booking as additional time will need to be allocated. Full payment is required before the inspection if you intend to be present.

When will I receive my inspection report?

Depending on the nature of the report, BeSafe endeavours to deliver reports within 24 to 48 business hours after the inspection has been completed. Reports are emailed directly to you in PDF format. Same-day reports are available upon request and will incur a surcharge.

Do your reports include photos?

Yes. BeSafe's comprehensive written reports include all photos taken during the inspection, including photographic evidence of any defects found.

What does a BeSafe property inspection cover?

BeSafe inspects the interior and exterior of the building, roof space, roof exterior, evidence of dampness, garage, carport, garden shed, retaining walls, steps, fencing, surface water drainage, stormwater run-off, paths and driveways. Timber pest inspections also cover current and past termite activity, extent of termite damage, dry rot, wood rot, and safety concerns caused by timber pests. All inspections comply with Australian Standard AS 4349.1.

What are the cancellation fees?

Cancellations made 48 or more business hours before the inspection incur no fee. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 business hours before the inspection also incur no fee. Cancellations made less than 24 business hours before the inspection incur a fee of 20% of the agreed inspection price. Same-day cancellations incur a fee of 50% of the agreed inspection price.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure a booking?

Yes. A minimum deposit of 10% of the inspection fee is required to secure your booking.

Can I call the inspector directly with questions after the inspection?

Yes. Your allocated BeSafe inspector's contact details are provided at the time of booking confirmation, and you are welcome to call them directly to discuss the report, raise concerns, or ask any questions about the property.
